The new energy job fair New Energy – New Work will be held in the great lobby area of the congress centre (Exhibition Hall 4) on 17 and 18 March 2011.
Renewable energy companies have survived the credit crunch with hardly a scratch. Sun, wind and bioenergy create a lot of work – so much that numerous businesses estimate they will be doubling their workforces in the next ten years. This means they are already urgently seeking qualifi es employees. Employers from all areas of the renewable energy industry will have information stands at the job fair where they will be able to meet prospective employees face to face.

JES! Jugend.Energie.Spaß. –
The successful new energy husum youth project
The state-wide youth competition “JES! Jugend.Energie.Spaß. - In Zukunft nur mit uns” has a successful start in 2009, and will also be continued in 2011. Young people aged between 14 and 22 are called upon to fi nd out about the subject of renewable energy, and come up with ideas of how to use it effi ciently. The winning entries can look forward to cash prizes totalling € 6,000.
